Is WIX good for SEO?

WIX is an amazing concept of a company. They provide an excellent service which allows for the average layman to create a beautiful website easily with a robust GUI interface an wide array of templates to choose from.

Basically I confess that WIX is great! But as a web developer and SEO specialist I must tell you the downside to WIX. I have had numerous clients ask me to rank their websites that have been built on the WIX platform. WIX basically sucks in terms of SEO. I'll explain why in my opinion:
While reviewing a website for analysis for SEO I always review the onsite mistakes or opportunities that are not taken advantage of... Namely being 3 elements, original content in terms of article, image and video. All 3 elements should be used on any website that wishes to rank organically in search engines. When I review the source code of a WIX website I notice that images have a uniquely strange series of random ascii characters for image file names. Example:

/image/hdfgsljgjkh637545.jpg

What if for instance the above image was a floral shop. How would google bot identify the image with this type of file name? A proper and clean image file name should be identifiable similarly to permalink structures. Here is an example of a very good file name:

/image/floral-shop-new-york.jpg.

Can you spot it? Of course you can because the file reads in plain English.
For this reason alone I have had much trouble ranking WIX websites and have concluded that WIX is not good for SEO at all. Just my opinion. Not hating, just being honest.
